Instructions

1. Keep ready a soft copy in of
   • Passport size photograph of .jpg or .png format of size between 20KB to 100KB.
   • Signature of .jpg or .png format of size between 10KB to 50KB.
   • Secondary School Examination Certificate of .jpg or .png format of size between 100KB to 200KB. (applicable to polytechnic diploma programmes)
   • Senior Secondary School Examination Certificate of .jpg or .png format of size between 100KB to 200KB. (applicable to under graduate programmes)
   • Final Year/Semester Marks Certificate of .jpg or .png format of size between 100KB to 200KB.
   • Category Certificate of .jpg or .png format of size between 100KB to 200KB. In case of sports .pdf format. (if applicable)
   • JEE Marks Certificate of .jpg or .png format of size between 100KB to 200KB. (applicable to B.Tech. applicants)
   • NRI Certificate of .pdf or .png format of size between 100KB to 200KB. (if applicable)

2. The candidates interested in Self-Financing / payment category and NRI quota shall indicate their choice in the application form.
3. Please click on the “Proceed” button shown at the bottom of instruction list after comprehensively reading and accepting the instructions.
4. In case you are applying afresh please follow the link “Apply for Under Graduate” or “Apply for Post Graduate” as required, under the “New Applicant” tab.
5. In case you have already applied for a particular program and are desirous to apply for other program(s), use the already issued “Applicant number” to proceed shown under “Existing Applicant” tab.
6. Enter your Personal and Academic details very carefully during the submission of the online Application Form.
7. Select the desired program(s) and/or preferences and upload your saved / ready photograph.
8. Ensure that the details are correctly entered before clicking on Submit button for final submission.
9. On the successful submission of the form you will get an acknowledgement message mentioning your Name , Applicant No. and Form No.
10. Note the Applicant No. and Form No . for future references.
11. There shall be two modes of payment of fee (offline & online) and applicants can choose any one of them as per their convenience & feasibility.
12. The application fee for all the programmes except Three Year Engineering diploma programmes is Rs. 1000/-, candidates opting for payment/self-financing as one of the choices shall have to pay an additional application fee of Rs. 500/- and candidates opting for NRI as one of the choices shall have to pay an additional application fee of Rs. 500/-.
13. The application fee for Three Year Engineering Diploma programmes is Rs. 500/-, candidates opting for payment/self-financing and NRI as one of the choices shall have to pay an additional application fee of Rs. 500/- and Rs. 500/- respectively.
14. In case candidates applying for more than one programme, they shall have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 0/- (per programme) as application fee. However, candidates opting for payment/self-financing and NRI as one of the choices in additional programme shall have to pay the additional application fee as mentioned above.
15. Deposit the required amount of fee plus Bank Charges either through online mode or against the pay-in-slip generated with the Application Form in any branch of J&K Bank Ltd across the State/Country. (In case of one programme) or via online portal
16. Use Applicant No. to check the status of your form after 48 hours of your hardcopy form submission.
17. You need not to submit the harcopy of the application form in the IUST, Awantipora.
18. Make judicious use of web service, if you are found uploading any immoral content on application form, strict action will be taken against you by the university.
